Over the past 25years, technology have influenced over society in a lot of ways. World considers the Hollywood as the best majority of film making producers. This presentation started in the late 1950’s to present which is 2006. Today the Actor’s and Actress’s, in our society and in other society’s, which is all around the world has a goal which is to make it in the Holly Wood. From 1980’s threw 2000, technology in film making system had gain a lot of power.
In the early 1980’s, the film making was not good enough to make movie look more real. The producers, and the Directors were not able to attrache the people. Because they were unable to. They did not had the technology with them They camera’s were not that effective. Because they were limited with the cause of time that did not had technology. Director’s couldn’t use the special effects that they use today. Directors couldn’t make that attractive Drama or Action, movies with very strong effects that they do today at 1980’s.
In the early 1980’s Ronald Reagon was elected the first movie-star president of the united states. This was a big profounded step that had been gain in the film history. At the age of 36 Sherry Lansing , becamed the first female president of the 20th Century Fox Studios; However so steps continued, threw further which was an excellent thing. Few movies camed out such as Heaven’s Gate (1981) in the late 1980, following movies were such as Taxi Driver by Martin Scorsese, The Last Picture Show by Peter Bogdanovich, Annie Hall by Woody Allen and The Deer Hunter By. Michael Cimino. The high-profile film was a remarkable production, considering that it featured eminent film actors (John Gielgud, Peter O'Toole, Malcolm McDowell, and Helen Mirren) and an adapted the screenplay by Gore Vidal. Katharine Hepburn won her record fourth acting Oscar - Best Actress, for her performance in On Golden Pond. She became the first; maker performer to win that many Best Actress awards.
Threw years started passing the producers started getting more and more which was a good thing it started and made film industry look better, one of the producers were such as MGM, made a comeback when it was split into a hotel empire and a movie company in 1980, and then acquired United Artists. UA was on the verge of bankruptcy due to the disastrous Heaven's Gate (1981). The regular release of James Bond films provided most of the studio's hits for the remainder of the decade.
Threw the 1988, a lot of films and steps were made, Director Martin Scorsese's controversial movie The Last Temptation of Christ opened in nine cities despite objections by some Christians who felt the film was sacrilegious. Pixar's 5-minute Tin Toy, the inspiration for Toy Story (1995), was the first computer animation to win an Academy Award. Billy, the baby character in the short film, marked the first time that a CG character had realistic human qualities. Digital morphing (the seamless change from one character or image to another) of several animals was first introduced by ILM and debuted in the live-action film Willow.
In the beginning of 1991, Disney's Beauty and the Beast was the first animated film to be nominated for Best Picture by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and sciences. Threw the end of 1991, 24 year-old USC film graduate John Singleton received an Oscar nomination as Best Director (the first time in this category for an African-American) for his debut film Boyz 'N the Hood. He was also nominated for Best Original Screenplay. It was the first mainstream movie to deal with gang violence in America's urban ghettos. Threw the beginning of 1991, Pokemon: The First Movie (released in Japan in 1998 and in the US in 1999) became the most successful foreign animated film at the box office in U.S. history. Film making studios realized that lucrative profits could be scored by cheaply remaking, adapting, or 're-treading' classic TV shows or most prominently -- horror films (i.e., the re-release Exorcist: The Version You Haven't Seen Before (2000), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Freddy vs. Jason (2003), the prequel Exorcist: The Beginning (2004), Dawn of the Dead (2004), Alien vs. Predator (2004), The Amityville Horror (2005), and House of Wax (2005)). Even some Asian horror films were retreads of successful foreign classics (i.e., The Ring (2002), The Grudge (2004), and Dark Water (2005)). These films were low cost to produce; didn't require much originality, big-name (and salary) actors or extensive marketing (because of brand-name recognition); and they had ready-made legions of faithful horror-film devotees. One thing most of the films had in common - they were not favorites of the film critics.
Since 1980, the film industry gain an extreme amount of power in its place and got 1st place in the world, with the name of HollyWood which is a dream place with a different studios and with the unexplainable scenes for every Acter or Actresses.
